Kelso Buys Eduction Tube Product Line

December 3rd, 2012

Kelso Technologies Inc., last week announced its acquisition of proprietary and manufacturing rights for its eduction tube product line from the James Wilson Co. of Houston, Texas, for US$65,000.

Eduction tubes are used in the loading and unloading of highly corrosive chemicals — inlcuding hydrochloric acid, an important chemical for hydraulic fracturing and oil sands processing — from rail tank cars and road tank trailers.

Kelso plans to market its eduction tube as the “Kelso Tiger Tube™.” The company plans to sell it to its OEM, retrofit and repair customers in conjunction with its external pressure relief valve. Subsidiary Kelso Innovative Solutions will manage the design elements of the ETS.
