Operation Lifesaver Announces Board Changes
January 18th, 2013Operation Lifesaver has named Cliff Stayton, director of community affairs and safety at CSX, as chair of its board of directors.
Stayton succeeds Reilly McCarren, chairman of the Arkansas and Missouri Railroad.
The nonprofit rail safety organization also named Polly Hanson, chief of Amtrak Police, and Nicole Brewin, assistant vice president of government affairs at Railway Supply Institute, to its board of directions.
Hanson fills a seat previously held by Roy Deitchman, Amtrak’s former vice president for environmental health and safety. She has nearly 30 years of rail experience.
Brewin is taking over the Railway Supply Institute seat on the board held since 1988 by Thomas Simpson, RSI president. She joined RSI in January 2001.
