Union Pacific Promotes Three in Corporate Relations
February 15th, 2013Union Pacific Railroad has announced three corporate relations appointments.
Donna Kush has been promoted to vice president of public affairs of the northern region, effective April 1, succeeding Joe Bateman, who will serve as vice president of government relations until he retires on Oct. 1. She currently serves as assistant vice president of corporate communications, and joined UP in 2008. She has more than 24 years of corporate marketing, branding and communications experience.
Brenda Mainwaring has been named vice president of public affairs of the southern region, effective April 15. She succeeds Joe Adams, who will retire on May 31. Mainwaring joined the railroad in 1997, serving as director of public affairs of Iowa and Nebraska since 2007. She worked in Washington, D.C., with the U.S. government prior to joining UP.
Additionally, Tom Lange has been promoted to assistant vice president of corporate communications, succeeding Kush. Lange currently serves as director of corporate communications. A former newspaper editor, he has more than 25 years of media relations and communications experience in the consumer, manufacturing, sports and transportation industries.
